Books Recommendations for How to Support Aging Parents

Anonymous
DH and I are in our early 40's and he lost his dad a couple of years ago. His mom lives a few hours away at the beach but we see each other at least once a month. DH talks to his mom daily and is concerned about her physical and mental health. She is in her early 70s and while thin, starting to slow down, spends more time in bed, and will sometimes repeat a story she already shared. I'm thinking she's lonely and misses her husband. My husband is worried that there could be more to it. His two siblings don't have the same concerns and one of them is a medical provider.

Are there any good books we should consider reading as we learn to navigate this new phase of life where we seem to become the caregivers of our aging parents? He is a true momma's boy in the best way possible and we don't want to diminish his concerns but he's also struggling with not trying to parent her.
