I want to make a jalapeno cheddar bread - but no dutch oven, no bread maker

I've got a serious hankering for a loaded up jalapeno cheddar bread, but don't have a dutch oven or bread maker. Is there a way? Do you have a recipe? Please help me get my spicy cheesey carby fix!

Search for a jalapeno cheddar quick bread, rather than a yeast bread.

Just google.

Just use a loaf pan

Get a box of bisquick, stir in jalapeño and cheddar.

You don't need a Dutch oven to make it. What a Dutch oven does, is to crate a moist environment, so you get that crispy crust. You can fake it by using a pan full of water in the oven instead. Sally's recipe below gives more explicit instructions.

I’ve used the frozen dough from grocery stores and just mixed in sliced of cheddar and chopped jalapeño. I sear the jalapano on our gas stove and take out the seeds.
You can also just use whatever plain dough recipe like the NYTimes no knead recipe.
