Beach resort location that’s a non stop flight

Looking for Caribbean locations, prefer a resort I think but doesn’t have to be all inclusive.
We have a 13yo so would like her to he able to do activities that don’t always need an adult with them. Don’t want to spend all day traveling so looking for a direct flight too. This would be for next Dec. |

use google flights, search WAS to Caribbean and it will show you all nonstops on a given day.
I recommend Aruba. |

We’ve been to Aruba. Loved it. But no more direct flights from the DC area. |

Southwest has nonstops to Puerto Rico from BWI. |

United has direct flights from IAD and Southwest from BWI. Both only have the direct flights on weekends though. |

| Atlantis in the Bahamas. It's a bit of a tacky beast in some ways of course, but they have all kinds of stuff for DD to enjoy, even a teen nightclub. |
