DS was looking to apply for business. His list was: Wharton (good luck getting in!), Georgetown, NYU, Cornell Dyson, Michigan Ross, UNC, Carnegie Mellon (Tepper), Emory, Indiana Kelley, Babson

I just looked at the ranking system. It’s very stupid. Basically just SATs and acceptance rate. There is one metric (30 pct weight) where the data seemed way off- pct in top 10 pct of high school class. The numbers didn’t make any sense. Basically the whole thing was a crude ranking of the most selective undergraduate schools - but with bad data in some areas

I just looked at the ranking system. It’s very stupid. Basically just SATs and acceptance rate. They rank USC as the 2nd best business schools which is just jarring. How anyone takes this ranking seriously is beyond me.
