MCPS MS buildings

Why are all MCPS MS buildings kind of run down/old as compared to MCPS HS and MCPS ES buildings? Just curious - those in upper MoCo, lower MoCo, everywhere.
No wonder MCPS MS is the "weak link" as people seem to say.....

Ours is just the opposite — of all the schools in our cluster, the MS our child is assigned to us by far the nicest—just was built most recently.

Neelsville is brand new, and Odessa Shannon, Tilden, Silver Creek, Hallie Wells, and Farquhar are relatively new.

Hoover seemed fine? I’m not sure how much the building really matters unless it’s really decrepit (some are- but that’s not very common).

All our schools were run down - ES, MS and HS.

Middle school is sort of a lost cause because of what kids are going through developmentally at that age. You just need to get them through those few years with as little damage as possible.
