You should check out Key Biscayne. Nice beach, lighthouse, and you can see the remaining part of Stiltsville from the beach.

go to mosaic district for murals. Also go out to everglades if you have a car

Ours enjoyed walking around the murals and grabbing lunch. Go for a walk on South Beach.

Outside the city we did the bike ride in the everglades to see the gators and snorkeled John Pennekamp park.
