Anyone done National Geographic Peru trip?

I’m looking at a couple of their itineraries. Normally, I would plan travel on my own, but for hiking the Inca Trail and getting out to the Amazon, it really helps to have a tour. I would love any feedback on National Geographic for this kind of trip. Or other tour operators have used them in South America. Thanks!

We are going in the spring on the Macchu Picchu & Amazon trip. Our friends did it pre-covid and loved it. We went on a Nat Geo trip in Vietnam 2 years ago that was amazing.

If you’re going to hike the Inca trail you don’t need to go with Nat Geo, which is really expensive. Just pick one of the many local trekking companies that will provide porters and camping equipment, etc. We’re using Alpaca Expeditions and spending a few days in Cusco and Sacred Valley beforehand to acclimatize to the altitude.
