Need to start looking for new refrigerator....

...I currently have a Whirlpool Gold Side-by-Side which is nearing end of life (over 10+ yrs old)...things put in rear of refrigerator are freezing and its making odd noises. Ice Maker and Water Dispenser haven't worked well for quite some time either.

Went out today for a quick look at Best Buy and Home Depot to see what models are available.

I'd love to get another Whirlpool (my other appliances are Whirlpool) but honestly didn't like any of the floor models.

Looking to get a French Door with bottom freezer model.

Must Haves:
- Stainless Steel
- 3 drawers -- Veggie, Fruit and wide deli/butter/cheese drawer
- Ice Maker
- Water Dispenser (internal or external)
- Cost below $2,500

Would prefer no handle on the freezer drawer as many floor models had broken door handles and a fellow customer shared how the handle broke fairly easily on his.

We just got this fridge after owning a whirlpool, which we liked but wanted counter depth:

This might not work for you as it is much smaller than the one you linked to but the Frigidaire is really well laid out.

For fridges, the more bells and whistles the more likely they are to break. Also, all the research we did said to stay away from LG and Samsung. GE, whirlpool and Frigidaire were solid…at least for the less expensive ones.

Do yourself a favor. Go to Bray and Scarff. I drive farther to the Tysons one because service is great there.
They only have good items. They advise pros and cons.
Deliver, install, removal of old stuff is great.
Do you really want some random Lowes or zhD hires hooking up your icemaker, leveling things, etc.?

Yes, agree. I've purchased other appliances from Bray & Scarff and have been happy. I just happened to be near Home Deport and Best Buy today to browse around. Bray & Scarff definitely on the list to visit soon.
