Hi all! Looking for some of your favorite adaptive gadgets for the home for my mom for Christmas.
I saw foam grips to add to utensils on Instagram yesterday which would be a huge help! Does anyone have other suggestions? ALSO--looking for the sturdiest bed grip/handle around for a plus sized person, so if anyone has one, they love, let me know. |
A TV remote with only a few buttons, an “Alzheimer’s” clock where you can set reminders for things like medication, meal times, showering, etc. My mom likes canned soda so I bought her a tab opening assistive device thing. |
Car assist grab bar!
Chair cane (slides under sofa) Marked stairs and step edges (even just a strip of yellow grippy tape or non slip edging) |
Amazon Alexa - weather check, plays music & news - can also make emergency calls if cant get to phone
Air tags - for keys, purse to easily find Night lights that turn on in dark Clock with day, date & time in big font YouTube subscription- English not first language, my mom watches all her shows in native language without commercials. |
