I'm a registered Democrat in DC.
In all my years of living and voting here (almost 25), this is the first election that I remember that I have had zero contact from a Presidential campaign. No mailers, no door-knockers, no texts or calls, no social media ads, no polling - nothing. And I have voted in every election and every primary, so I'm definitely an active voter. Obviously, Harris will win DC's electoral votes so no need to target voters here, but I know that in the past we've had at least something. Have the campaigns gotten so sophisticated that they can take DC voters out of the mix and spend the money elsewhere? I'm voting for Trump, by the way. |
| I've gotten plenty of contact via e-mail and text and ads online. |
| So many daily via text and email. |
OP here. So odd; I've gotten none of that. We got a mailer today on Yes on 83 but nothing from a candidate. |

MD voter. Hogan volunteers twice at our house. Yes, he has all 3 of our votes!

I've never gotten any literature or contact from a presidential campaign in D.C.
I get a lot of texts from D.C. Council candidates, but unfortunately they're mostly addressed to a totally different voter who lives in a different ward across town from me. |
+1 all electronic. I have a 3x per day delete routine. |
| I've been getting tons of text messages. |
Way to bury the lead.
