Will son's father be able to modify child support?

| Will my son's father be able to modify child support if he has other children that live with him? Our son is 16 and we had our first hearing today. At the end of hearing, son's father said he couldn't afford the amount and he was told he can request modification. I think he will also want to change custody. Will that change anything? We don't have official custody, but son stays with him 2-3 overnights a week and could possibly be more because we live in the same neighborhood (so no matter where he lives, son would be at same school). |

| If he has the child part time, yes. If he has other kids, it depends on the state. |
