Grand Cherokee L

We had an accident this weekend with our Durango which most likely will be totaled. Would love to get feedback from those that own a Grand Cherokee L.

We just bought ours this month - only 1000 miles so far but we love it. Also considered the Durango, Explorer, Acadia and Grand Highlander. We got $6K in rebates from Jeep.

It’s a Grand Cherokee with 10” more wheelbase. There is nothing magical about it. Same thing as comparing a Yukon to a Suburban- same vehicle, just slightly longer.

The 3.6L V6 is a decent engine. Avoid the 3.0L ecodisesel. Not sure if they’re still offering the 5.7L Hemi, but if they are, that’s the engine to get.

We have a Grand Cherokee L with captains chairs in the middle row and we love it. Third row is decently spacious (and I'm 5'10) and it doesn't feel huge.

OP here. LOVE the Durango. We bought it brand new in 2014. It was the R/T Hemi model and it has been a beast of a machine driven 155k miles.

We are considering the GCL because the kids are grown and looking for something a little more luxurious.

OP here. Yup for us it would have to be the Hemi for sure.
