43 is fine but you’ll be tired |
Whew chile.
More power to you and gl. If you do conceive, don’t over exert yourself the first couple of months because that can cause you to miscarry |
I was almost 43 when I had #2. So glad I kept trying (after lots of miscarriages), but I will say it is very tiring. |
I had twins at 45. Healthy pregnancy, healthy delivery, healthy babies, healthy kids and still energetic/hearty mom many many years on now.
Hope to still be saying the same in 10 and 20 years! |
Both of my grandmothers had babies in their 40s, as did many of their contemporaries. This was not uncommon in the pre-birth control era. Women in their 40s having babies is not unusual. |
Did you have IVF? Which doctor did you go to is your? What was your FSH level and your ASH level? |
Hard pass. |
Our 3rd at 43, healthy and happy |
Oof. No thanks. |
Congratulations and good luck! You are brave to share anything here. |
No way. |
No thanks. Good luck with that when you are in your 60s. |
It's the first pregnancy at 40+. That's what this discussion is about. |
+1 Why would you want to be mistaken for a grandma! You will! There is a point where one should think nieces/nephews/cousin's kids/neighbors and dogs are good enough. That age is 40. |
