Email accounts for kids and college junk email - what to do?

How are you handling email accounts and incoming college emails? Right now, I am getting some colleges sending stuff to my email address (don't know what I did to get on their list). DC is in 10th grade.


Does your 10th grader have an email account?

Do they have multiple email accounts? One just dedicated to college stuff?

For the college email account, should they use an email related to their name or just a random email name?

Be sure to tell them not to check the box about getting mail on the PSAT. Just request info from the schools you are interested in,
