This is a plug for "Slow Horses" on Apple TV+. It is absolutely as good as the media hype. Current season 4 has 3 more episodes and will wrap by mid-October. Apple has the first 3 seasons.

I started watching during season 1 and have loved every episode, rewatched and am reading the books. Jackson Lamb is such a unique character played to perfection by Gary Oldman.

I so want to love this show, but Gary Oldman's long greasy hair, slob persona drives me bonkers. I want to scream at the screen: Take a shower, wash your hair. Put on a clean set of clothes. 😂

He plays Lamb so well! He’s disgusting for sure! Try the book series.

I love this show, and Gary Oldman, Kristen Scott Thomas and the actors who play River and the secretary are great, but the rest of the cast is mediocre.

I love it and I actually love every single member of the cast. I wonder if Oldham gained weight specifically for the role — it makes me worry for his health, because he sincerely looks like sh-t in this role! I hope he’s not method acting too much.

I don't have apple TV but I have seen the ads with pommel horse guy promoting it, doing pommel horse in slow motion!

I wanted so much to love it but didn't. Gary Oldman is great but the plots were ridiculous and I thought the writing was kludgy.

I love it. I read all the books, too. They really come into their own on book 4 where the action ramps up. But they are a combination of humor, intrigue and action. Fabulous.

This is one of our favorite shows. So happy season 4 is out.
