Cheap Apple Watch for tween

| My tween just lost an Apple Watch. I am considering my options of what to do next. And we will of course be handling the responsibility aspects of this so please no parenting lessons. I’m just trying to figure out my tech options. If I buy a refurbished/used watch somewhere (I see some at Walmart online - I’m sure there are others?), can I connect it to his existing phone number and Verizon account? Does Verizon sell cheaper refurbished ones? Or Apple? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks. |
