The new transfer portal rules and level of play in college are awful.

The chip on the shoulder of some of the college coaches incredible. They know more than MLS coaches too. Won't bother calling them back.

Education is important. Very important. but to get the right level of play, which for most colleges--isn't there.

There are a few schools and college coaches that are the exception.

But, for the most part, it is just more of the same bullsh*t.

Yep it is whatever the equivalent of 13th grade would be in travel soccer. For like 95% of the coaches there is no pressure to win or even have a winning season.

In often cases, the play is worse—particularly if you are coming from MLSNext. Much more kickball, big and physical.
