Who shares and how much with adult children about divorce?

| If kids were little when you divorced and so no clue why divorced- too little to remember anything, how much do you share when they grow up? If now adult DD or DS come to you facing exact problems in their marriages that you went through, how much do you share? So meaning if you divorced b/c you or spouse was workaholic or alcoholic/addict or had affair, if that’s what adult child is now facing, do you continue to talk generally or start to share more? How respond when kid says “you just don’t understand”? |
