Magnet Bus overcrowding

Some Blair magnet buses (both morning and afternoon) are extremely crowded, and there are barely enough seats or not enough seats for everyone to fit. These buses are usually ones in the Stone Mill/Glen Club/Cold Spring areas, such as 4715 and 4712 in the morning, and 5718 in the afternoon. 4712 is the late bus, supposed to be for MS students, but plenty of HS students ride it instead of 4715, so 4712 is close to full, and 4715 is still full.

You can also reach out to the magnet administrative coordinator. Our coordinator was constantly tracking feedback like this and coordinating with the transportation department.

Does "barely enough seats" and "close to full" mean that there are still seats for everybody, even though it's crowded? If so, that doesn't seem to be a problem. If kids are having to sit on the floor or not have seats, that's something to raise with the transportation department.

My magnet kid took the Wootten cluster bys several years back. Kids ended up sitting on the floor (on the beltway).We drove DD to the first stop to ensure she would have a seat.
