| I am hearing that some do and some do not. Do principals decide this? |
| Don't most? |
| PTSAs decide it. At our HS, dance attendance dropped bc kids were spending their time on dinners and trips downtown so now they offer a Friday night festival. |
| Wootton does not do a dance at all. They do nothing for homecoming and it's embarrassing. I think the student association is just a bunch of boring brainiacs that want it on their college resume but don't care to do anything for the school. |
Thanks for volunteering to get one started by assisting your kid who can work with the Student Association if they are already not in the Association to have a dance this year. Or are parents going to oppose a dance!!? |
| RM has a dance and I know Churchill and QO have one. |
| Blake and Paint Branch have one. |
| Einstein has one. |
| Blair and Northwood do. |
👆. This right here. |
My oldest is a freshman at Wootton and just found out yesterday they don't do a dance or even a homecoming event at the football game. This was already decided yearly so I don't think anyone can jump in and host a dance. They do a glow in the dark event in the gym after the game, which sounds like something a middle school would do. |
which school? |
All pretty much do, it's a bigger deal at some schools. |
| I don't know any schools that don't have homecoming. It's such a big thing but I hate the signs and asking out to homecoming crap. It's over the top |
This sounds like Whitman. A Friday night carnival like event after the game but no dance |
