Hand, Foot, & Mouth Disease during fertile window

We had unprotected sex this morning. This afternoon older DC comes down with Hand, Food, and Mouth.
So far I do not have any symptoms but am extremely worried about a possible pregnancy being affected by HFM. I had a 12 week loss earlier this year. Anyone BTDT? |

| A quick google search told me HFM doesn’t impact pregnancy and any conceived embryo won’t even attach to your uterus for for a few more days. Is there a specific reason your worried? |

| Most adults are immune. There are multiple viruses that can cause HFM but chances are you were exposed to most or all of them as a child, even if you never had obvious symptoms. |

| I am no expert but did quite a bit of googling because I had a chemical pregnancy right when my toddler got HFM. I found nothing indicating that it affects a pregnancy. Also it seems that adults typically have some sort of prior immunity so it’s not common for them to get. Neither my husband or I ended up catching it. |
