Could you all suggestion some toddler-friendly restaurants around Gallery Place/Penn Quarter that would also have some vegetarian options. Our son is 14 months old. Oyamel comes up as kid-friendly on both Washington Post and Washingtonian, but I haven't been there since my son was born, so I haven't noticed if it's actually kid-friendly (highchairs, etc.)
Thanks! |

Lots of options! For pizza there is Matchbox (7th and H) or Ellas (9th and G or thereabouts). Legal Seafoods and La Tasca (Spanish tapas) are also at 7th and H (on 7th Street). For casual there is a fast-food style Mexican place right by the Legal Seafoods but I forget the name. And Clydes is right across the streeet. I think all of the places I mentioned are more kid-friendly than Oyamel, which probably would have high chairs, but it doesn't strike me as a great atmosphere for kids.
And don't forget all of the Chinese restaurants... |

Clydes and La Tasca
Don't forget about Ella's - right across from the Spy museum on 9th. |
| Our 2yo loves Zetinya. Lots of vegan options.... |
| Chophouse, Clyde's, Ella's - all have crayons and paper. And noisy/busy enough to drown out any trouble spots. |
