I've heard it's a literary masterpiece but I've yet to tackle this tome. Be curious to hear from people who have read it.

I really liked it. Like all stream of consciousness, you have to give in to it.

There’s a parallel story of an American lioness that I didn’t get at first, but that pulls together with the narrator’s life story by the end. The narrator is a mother with midwestern roots and I’m from the same general area, so this really worked for me.

I did have a hard time figuring out the timeline and some of the mental chatter gets annoying. But I thought it was innovative and memorable and I’m glad I read it. Really different than a lot of what gets published these days.

I loved the idea and found it really intriguing and imaginative…for a while. I couldn’t get through it though.

How do you divide up the task if the book is one long sentence? That's what's stopping me.

Hated it. Exhaustingly repetitious. Put it in the local little free library.
