I have fairish skin and it doesn't matter what sunscreen I use and how often I reapply (usually every 60-70 minutes), I burn somewhere. I decided to buy Blue Lizard after reading about it recently on this forum. Such a small bottle for what I'd normally pay for a large one! I was skeptical. But it is the first time I have not burned in years and honestly, the white tint isn't much different than many other sunscreens I've used. Thanks DCUMs! My next question is does this stuff ever go on sale? Is it cheaper somewhere other than Amazon? Thanks! |
I'm pretty sure I got mine from Target and it was part of the general sunscreen sale they had on the app. Not a huge discount, but something |
I’m a long time user of Blue Lizard and recently tried Whole foods 365 Mineral sunscreen for the sake of it being on sale. My kids and I were happy with how much smoother and more like lotion it went on, but darn if we didn’t get burnt when not reapplying every 2-3hrs. We were used to the staying power of Blue Lizard, suffer once with the white application and good for most of the day…only reapplying if we’d been out on the lake or ocean. It really does just work better. |
It was on sale for Prime Day - at least one bottle was. |
Blue Lizard worked well for me, but stained everything I came into contact with. So hard to find a good mineral sunscreen that doesn’t rub off on everything. |
