Anyone with Heloc or loan experience with Rocket Mortgage?

Has anyone used Rocket Mortgage recently and can share their experience? I am reading mixed reviews online but they have offered the best rates, however we have no experience with them or know anyone closely that does.

We use Rocket Mortgage. My husband works in banks and is confident that they are financially sound. He’s never mentioned them being a PIA. What questions do you have?

I used rocket for a cash out refinance that closed in late May. They were fantastic, especially my loan officer and her supervisor. They moved so fast to lock in my business that I didn't even have a chance to shop around. The experience had a couple of hiccups as it seems that one department didn't really have their act together but all in all, I can't complain. In hindsight, I had wished I shopped around because I thought the rate was very high and that I could have done better, but reading OP, it seems like I may not have done too badly after all.

I would recommend them based on my experience.

Customer service on existing loans is HORRIBLE. I'm a long time CPA trying to help a low income client and friend suspend real estate taxes as allowed by our county. The suspension requires the sign off of the mortgage county. So far I've been an hour trying to find the correct department. The on hold music has me feeling suicidal.

Limited experience, but I used them for a condo purchase in 2023 and then sold in 2024. No issues.

I don't know what rates they are offering, but we refinanced twice with penfed.org (we are not federal or military employees). Easy, and super to work with

The Rocket LO laughed at the rate I was offered by another lender (Third Federal). Nice guy though.

Shop around. Rocket may have the best rate; it also might not.

If you close with Rocket, they will close fast.

What was the rate??

We bought in 2021 with Quicken who I think promptly became Rocket. It sold to another company then two years later bought again by Rocket. We have had no problems with them.
