| In all seriousness, the cultural appropriation and the fake accent are really really wrong. She should apologize because those things are verifiable. This is speculation BUT this reminds me of The Undoing on HBO. Is she a sociopath or psychopath? Why has no reporter picked this up? Does Alec Baldwin have that much power? |
| There is a YouTube video of her mom talking about her business from Spain this year. Her mom has zero accent- if someone was gonna have an accent after retiring to Spain 7 years ago, it would be her. I don’t think her mom is “nuts”- just alternative- but she clearly raised someone with a personality disorder. The accent and the lies and omissions are really awful. I feel bad for the kids and boy did she make a bitch out of Alec Baldwin. The guy could’ve had a number of young “fertile” (As someone on here keeps saying) women, but he fell for a huge liar and that is mother of his kids. It’s sad and I feel bad for the kids |
| And in the video when the mom talks about her kids, both of whom she had in med school (no Easy feat), her sons name Jeremy rolls off trh tongue and then when she gets to her daughter she has to pause a moment to say “hilaria”- it clearly clearly clearly didn’t used to be/ isn’t her given name |
I guess I don’t understand why he has gone along with it for 5 kids. |
Because sociopaths cast a spell- if she is one. Or, as someone suggested, sometimes u just want to believe in the lie. I also suspect it's possible he doesn't actually know the extent of her deception. As someone noted, her parents aren't even mentioned in the wedding announcement. He never actually went to Spain with her until after they were married. It's all very bizarre. |
| Does anyone remember how Hilaria was comparing her arm color to her daughter’s? Her arm was tan and she was telling her children how they have white skin and she has a different skin tone. She was trying so hard to present herself as a brown woman. The reality she got some tan and her children are very fair. But Hilaria wants everyone to believe she is brown |
When did this happen? That is next level. ~Actual Brown Woman |
Young piece of fertile tail who apparently f***s like a rabbit, and gave him a large attractive family he likely always wanted. I don't think he cares about much beyond that -- he's a mover, he's not idle all day psychoanalyzing his vapid wife. |
+1. I don't think we need to dig too deep to figure this relationship out. He chose a hot young yoga instructor who was fine with letting him work and earn the money. He tried marrying a famous actress (Kim) and that didn't work out, like at all (highly contentious divorce). So this was the way to go. He didn't want an actress or anyone famous. He's fine letting Hilaria have her instagram following because that is harmless. Win win. |
I’m not worried about their relationship, nor do I care other than he might be going along with this blatant lie and cultural appropriation. It’s wrong and dies hurt people. She will be caught and she should be. (Also I don’t know who keeps writing “fertile” on here, but it’s clearly a man. Women don’t speak like that.) |
Yes, I remember. It was over the summer during the protests over G Floyd’s death. In her insta stories she said she was trying to find age-appropriate ways to teach her children about racism. She put her arm up to Carmen’s and asked “what color is your skin? What color is my skin?” etc. And Carmen answered “mines a little bit tan, and yours is more tan” or something like that. And Hilaria went on to say, “yes, and did you know some people think some skin colors are better than others?” On the surface it’s good parenting, but when you consider the subtle way she alludes to being Spanish, without ever coming out and saying it, the post seems deceitful. And I say this as a biracial woman with siblings who are varying shades of brown and grew up talking about these kinds of things. I didn’t think much about the post then, but that was back before I did a google search and found this thread. |
The skin color thing is awful. It's definitely Rachel Dolezal-esque. She was also on the cover of Hola! magazine, so in that case she very likely took that job away from someone else. She should have to give the money back-- and actually probably with all of her endorsements. Completely false representation. It's one thing to make some stupid mistakes in the heat of a moment or one or two when you are kid- it's quite another to engage is sutatined deception. She sounds mentally ill and should probably go get help and just get off social media for a long time if not forever. |
| Cultural appropriation is kid-gloving what she's doing. Isn't there a strong term for this conduct? It's a sociopathic scam. |
| God I love whenever this thread pops back up. Doesn't anyone have a contact in the industry who can explain why the media is sitting on this? |
No offense to us, but I doubt they are looking on DC Urban Moms and Dads. Reddit or something else maybe. |
