fyi we're eat Wootton |
Usually around 2 hours, also it depends on how big the school is. Damascus had it short mainly because it’s a smaller school compared to Blair, Wheaton, and PB. |
2 hours |
*at Wootton |
Too long. A full work schedule.
Hours for pre-graduation ceremony prep-hair-gown-makeup-photos. THEN factor 2-3 hours for drive to UMBC (depending on where you're coming from), parking, traffic to get on exit ramp and off, finding seats, bathroom fixing hair getting student where they need to be etc. THEN 2 hrs for ceremony. THEN 2hrs to mingle, photos, bathroom, change clothes if needed, figure out where to go after leaving parking lot, finally get out of area for a celebratory meal/drinks. THEN drive +1hr to that place. |

If your HS is the later time slot graduation in the day, be prepared to have graduation start later, delays. |
What? |
Are you coming from New Jersey? |
Some of us are coming from western areas of MoCo. No UMBC was not where we wanted grafuation. Clearly you have not been to UMBC on graduation day. Fool. |
Better to get to UMBC parking lot earlier than later. Tailgate if you have time. You'll be glad than sitting in your car trying to get off the exit to UMBC. |
The graduation is at DAR so still that long? |
It depends entirely on which school and how many graduates there are. |
Oh great, yet another thread of people complaining about UMBC. Just what we needed. |
I am in Gaithersburg. Just checked Waze and the drive to DAR and umbc is one hour for each. Umbc parking will be much easier. |
