For those who are wondering, Mr Pineda managed to land on his feet.
He is the new principal of Roscoe R. Nix Elementary School in MCPS. I guess he switched districts after burning bridges in DCPS. I’m not sure I can see him as a elementary school principal. |

I think he can look good on paper. I'm sorry to hear this news for that elementary school. He shouldn't be a principal anywhere, it's not where his skills lie. |

| My sympathies for Roscoe R. Nix Elementary School families. Pineda was a terrible principal at O-A. Hopefully, he learned something from his O-A experience and he does a MUCH better job at your school. |

| It is a thread now in MCPS schools. They are very unhappy about this hire. |

| This is so frustrating. I have seen up close and personal how mcps does not do a great job of vetting their applicants for principal or vice principal and this is one of the more extreme situations |

| Julian Pineda was not only a terrible, unqualified principal at OA, he is a bad person. He is a dishonest, disrespectful, and cowardly person. The only think he is good at is spinning BS. He reminded me a lot of the former congressman, George Santos. |
