DH is wearing his hair longer now. He has a lot of it but it’s very fine. He shampoos and conditions but his hair still gets really tangled. Looks like a rats nest when he wakes up and is really hair to comb/brush.
Pls recommend a good leave-in conditioner for fine hair that will help prevent all the tangles he’s currently struggling with. I have thick curly hair so my products aren’t suitable for him. TIA! |
Love this stuff, if they ever discontinue it I will be so sad.

Silk pillow case |
I was almost tempted to click buy on this one, since I'm irritated by fragrance, but I'm trying to avoid "cones" like dimethicone. |
In the before and after, my hair looks like the "after" but I'm aiming for something more like the "before." -not op |
I have just like that. Sounds like he’s using a lousy conditioner. Ya don’t need both a good conditioner and leave in conditioner / detangler.
When still in the shower and putting in the conditioner, it is easy to run the fingers through the hair using the conditioner - don’t scrunch it up and scrub, is it correctly. |
I have super fine hair and love the LolaVie Glossing Detangler and Perfecting Leave-In. |
I like the one from Odele. Its at CVS and Target |
This is going to blow your mind, but not everyone has the same experience as you. Some of us do need a leave-in, even when using a high-quality conditioner in the shower. It's OK that I do and you don't. |
Plain cold pressed argan oil, go very light on it. |
Conspicuously caucasian person here: sleep bonnet or silk cap/wrap. You can condition all you like, and if your hair is tangle-prone and unprotected in your sleep, this is the outcome. Overconditioning will just leave it limp and greasy-looking, especially if it's fine. |
Or use a silk pillowcase. My head gets way too hot for a bonnet, especially in the summer. |
Don’t twist, scrunch and squeeze. Just comb it through and let it dry. |
