Considering conceiving our 3rd. For those who have had a *successful* pregnancy at this "later in life" stage (or whatever you want to call it), how many cycles did it take? |
Um, 2.5 years. |
18 months for me, for a successful pregnancy. |
For #2, it was 3 months at age 39; had baby at 40. I had #1 at 38 (1st miscarriage and then waited a few months and then 1 month of trying) |
I am the previous poster. I did use ovulation predictors. |
I got pregnant with #3 the month after my period returned post partum at age 39. My middle child was 6 months old at the time. |
First try and wasn't even planned.
|
3 years 5 miscarriages and counting |
I have 2 prior living children |
Three for our second kid. |
Seven months for me at age 39, with kid #2. The first was on the first try. |
3 months trying, 6 mo total— chemical preg first mo off birth control, trisomy preg next cycle w spontaneous loss at 10 wks, conceived my daughter on the next cycle. 38 when conceived/39 at birth.
but I’m weird, and also got a positive preg test on every cycle off birth control when i conceived my son at 35 (2 chemical pregnancies before conceiving my son) |
