TJ: Calculus BC Grading

Looking for some feedback on how the Calculus BC Final Exam has gone for kids and the grades/score?

Final surprisingly well for my kid. After a very very rocky year. Grades kid had never seen before and hopefully won’t ever see again. That class is no joke. Not sure he would take it if we had to do it again. It was a very rough ride. And he has easy As in Math 4/5.

Yikes. Scared now. DC has had pretty simple As in math to date but is taking Calc BC next year.

This is PP. I recommend getting a tutor early. If not needed, you can stop. Know several kids who ended up at MIT who STILL needed tutor for TJ BC Calc. No one told us that until it was almost too late! Get a tutor lined up now.

Did your kid end up with an A? Did you have any tutoring?

PP. my kid ended with a B+. Given how bad the cumulatives went, it’s a coup. We didn’t tutor. Wish he had.

Does anyone know of a good TJ Cal tutor?
