XCaret - Lunch?

At the hotel or the park?
At the hotel Chibali is kid-focused. But the main restaurant Mercado has tons of food and toddlers will be fine at either. |

We did the big Mexican buffet. The problem was that we spent a really long time feasting. It was solid. And then we were stuffed, but had so much yet to do. We had little ones with us. We should have said that we'll eat for 30 minutes and move on. We wouldn't have spent so much time and wouldn't have been so stuffed. Because we had littles and wanted to stay for the night show, we didn't arrive until around 1030, so had barely done anything by the time we had lunch. And then we were hurried.
With older kids/adults, it would have been better. We would've started earlier and appreciated an extended midday break. This all said, I thought Xcaret was only okay for kids three and under. |
