Best vacuum

With a toddler AND a preschooler my vacuum is not cutting it. Need a recommendation — what is the absolute best vacuum out there?

I love my Dyson v15

I got a Dyson v8 on clearance a few years ago for 200 bucks.

Roomba, run it everyday. I also need my Dyson but don’t use it often.

Dyson stick. Lightweight and very effective. We use it more than once a day in high kid traffic areas.

Dysons are crap. They barely hold enough battery to vacuum 3 rooms. Get a Miele. I have this one and it’s run No issues for 7 years with kids and pets: https://www.mieleusa.com/e/canister-vacuum-cleaners-complete-c3-calima-powerline-sgfe0-curry-yellow-10796510-p

This. Not necessarily as your only vacuum, but it's so much easier to use than corded, that we use it for 3 minutes at a time multiple times a day, plus a real sweep of the main floor daily.

Unlike PP, I've had zero issues with battery. Charge it maybe once a week?

Sure, it will last a week if you use it to spot clean only. It will not vacuum even 4 large rooms on one charge. I got the Miele when I realized cordless Dyson does not work as a primary vacuum. It also clogs easily on pet hair.

I have a Miele for regular whole house vacuuming and a Dyson for quick pick ups. Agree with PP, the battery on the Dyson doesn’t last terribly long and it does clog easily with pet hair, but it’s kind of invaluable for quick clean ups and small jobs IMO.
