Accepted to University of Michigan - what were your DC’s stats?

Anonymous
If your DC was accepted to the University of Michigan OOS this year, can you list their GPA/test scores and what round they were accepted in? (EA, Deferral turned acceptance, RD, etc.). Thanks!

I think major might matter.

I think the Michigan stats at our private school are equivalent to the kids getting into Ivies. However, the Ivy admits are usually the ones with a big hook and the Michigan admits tend to have high stats and more normal high school ECs (as opposed to the impressive passion project, non-profits, tutoring companies, etc.).

EA for LSA data science, 1550, 3.9/4.4 from a tough private. 9APs by time of application. ECs pretty mid.

Kid had a wide range of academic interests is excited about the different classes offered.

which tough private has a weighted GPA?
The Big3/Maret/Potomac do not. Are there other tough privates around here?

Yup. This describes DC. 4.0UW/4.9+W, 1550+, NMF, AP Scholar with distinction, top rigor. Admitted EA. DC is going. Super excited about the course offerings/opportunities.

PP. CDS for UMich confirms this btw, i.e., Academic record and GPA are the only two categories checked as "Very important."
