How involved is your coach?

Is your kids coach involved in activities beyond the game? Does he care about your child's well being? Home life? Academics? This is not for school affiliated sports. Are school affiliated coaches more involved? Less involved? As a parent, do you have a rapport with your kids coach or do you just stand back? Do you support your coach in any way?

Rec League--No involvement beyond the game.

Travel--Slightly more interested in the kids but not to the point of academics or well being. Attends social events.

School Sports--detached (in our experience).
