Hi all - I realized I may have posted this to the wrong forum? We are expecting our first child later this year and have heard the waitlists can be crazy. We would be looking to start daycare early next year. Hoping to find out what others have done for day care in the Cleveland Park area. We looked at KinderHaus and KindarCare in City Ridge, so if you have any info on those specifically, please let us know. Also still trying to wrap our heads around nanny shares. Any info/recs would be appreciated!

St Albans. Right next to Metro, whole foods and target for convenience. They also have 2 playgrounds and a gym for crappy weather. |
Perhaps School for Friends? Closer to Dupont, but nice outdoor space and it's a sweet school. |
KinderHaus has been incredible for my family. Loving, communicative child care providers, great directors. We were at a previous center before and KH is so much better -- night and day. I've seen people complain about the lack of outdoor space, but they do have outdoor space with a small play structure, sandbox, etc., and they are working on starting an outdoor classroom! My 3 y.o. used to hate going to daycare and now he loves it. |
