What will the diagnosis help? For children, it unlocks services in schools and healthcare, but for adults, there isn't much value? What do you hope to achieve?

It's for a family member. I am hoping that it will help qualify for disability services. |

You should look into a research study, particularly at NIH or KKI. We've participated in several studies, the first for improving the diagnostic criteria for identifying kids with ASD from other development disorders. It was a multidisciplinary team and was at no cost to us. They were amazing and I got a great written report. Our experience with ADHD studies was similar.
