Spanish immersion or conversation in DMV for (reluctant) teen?

Anonymous
Seeking a conversational group (ideally in person) for my reluctant teen to practice and engage in Spanish this summer. We are in MC. I welcome suggestions you have tried or know of. DC has taken Spanish 3 in HS and their teacher is dreadful this year and they want to stop. DC's dad wants them to continue.........Thank you.

Why are you forcing your kid?

Yes HS languages stink rare for a kid to come away knowing a language well.

And mine like yours had horrific 3rd year teachers.

There is no reason whatsoever to force your kid.

I am not forcing. For context DC's dad wants them to continue with a Spanish tutor over the summer which I think is just ridiculous given the class was refused. I was looking to see if there is a softer easier option. Thanks.
