How much would all of this roughly cost?
Finish 500sq ft basement and add full bathroom Gut and redo kitchen Redo outside patio Tear down single car garage and redo for living space - probably one story My rough estimates are $50,000 for the basement, $50,000 for the kitchen and $50,000 for the patio but I may be super duper under estimating. The redo of garage space I am thinking $100,000. |

| We are doing everything you are doing except the garage, and it is going to cost $300K if we are lucky. So I think you’re underestimating everything. |

I think your ballpark is good.
Probably you could save on the patio budget and increase the kitchen budget. |

| Our basement was close to $100k and had a full bathroom already-we did not choose high end materials except for purple drywall and mineral insulation. Everything else was lower end Home Depot for the most part. |

| Thanks - we keep going back and forth on what we want to do. Renovate or move. But we have already put $150k into the house and haven’t been able to find anything that fits our needs exactly. |

In my book, the kitchen seems really low. I did a remodel of a small kitchen a few years ago and quotes were around 75k+ not including appliances.

Kitchen 100K+ What do you want to do with the patio? How large - that could be 35K to 100K depending. Garage to living space? 150K |
