Morning sickness SOS

I am newly pregnant with #3. First two were Covid babies and I didn’t have to leave the house. This one is killing me. The hangover is horrific. I just started b6 and unisom. I know it probably needs time to work but I am desperate for relief. What are things that have helped you?

Medication from your OB. I had to take it with all three pregnancies. It does really help, more than the over the counter stuff. It does make you sleepy but honestly I'd rather deal with horrible fatigue (which, tbh you have anyway) than the type of nausea that doesn't give you any peace. Completely safe btw! Take it without worry.

Zofran. It he rest is just fluff.

Yep, agree with above. Absolutely no homeopathic remedies work. If Diclegis taken both morning and night doesn’t work, Zofran.

Agreed with the medication route - Bonjesta was a life-saver for me (it is time-released Diclegis).

Zofran is amazing. It works in 20 minutes. I took it after vomiting straight for months and almost cried with joy.

Another vote for Zofran. Mom of two, took zofran for entire pregnancy both times. Only thing that worked for me.

Zofran. Needed it with 4 pregnancies. The only thing that made things a little better. Without it I was bedridden and vomiting 10 times a day sometimes.

Zofran is amazing but for me it was not enough on its own. Definitely recommend starting there but I needed Reglan on top of Zofran and also just to lay down a ton.

Other things that helped (assuming toothbrushing is a trigger) were just brush teeth with no toothpaste a tiny bit at a time. Take breaks. Then swish fluoride mouthwash.

Also have saltines next to your bed and eat a few before getting up.

Don't force yourself to eat things that sound gross. If all you can eat is popsicles, eat popsicles.

Agree with round the clock saltines. I kept packs in my nightstand and in my bag. I gained a ton of weight first trimester due to constantly eating carbs but it helped the nausea.

And medication, of course.
