....where protagonist is in dangers and bad things are happening, but we don't know who the bad guy is until the end.
Ghost was also like this--didn't know who killed Patrick Swayze until the end. |
The Negotiator
Identity Frozen 😁 |
Suspect
Jagged Edge |
I never saw The Bodyguard. I will have to check it out.
OP you may like Apples Never Fall.... mixed reviews for sure but I enjoyed the mystery aspect. |
I had to laugh when I was sitting here thinking: Frozen?? Then it hit me. 😂
Loved Jagged Edge. Will look for The Negotiator, Identity and Suspect. And very intrigued about Apples Never Fall. I really liked Big Little Lies, though wish I hadn't known who did it when I watched the series later. Thanks! |
Loved The Bodyguard ! We’re talking about the Whitney Houston flick right?
Though I do think Kevin Costner was poorly cast. However - speaking of Kevin Costner - No Way Out fits the bill of what OP is looking for. Its a fun mystery political thriller that has held up well. |
OP here. Loved No Way Out. And agree that KC was bad casting in The Bodyguard. No emotion which I get he's a bodyguard, and he has that same demeanor in pretty much everything, so shouldn't be a surprise. Denzel Washington or Liam Neeson would have been great, imo. |
Oooh agree on Denzel or Liam.
Though of another fun thriller - it stars Denzel and Jodi Foster. I think Spike Lee directed it I’ll look up this movie |
Check out the British TV series called The Bodyguard. |
Inside Man! Great movie. |
I thought this is what we were talking about. Loved it, highly recommend. Also, The Night Agent. The Recruit is a bit uneven and more graphic, but still enjoyable. |
Inside Man |
The Siege Salt |
OP here. I have that on my list. Thanks! |
OP here. I enjoyed The Bodyguard a lot. It felt a little truncated--not fully developed. Or maybe I just was unprepared and didn't see the clue for what ultimately it was about, which I won't say since that would be a Spoiler. But even then, I enjoyed it a lot. Will try Night Agent (I was thinking the Night Manager which I LOVED! and the Recruit. Thank you. |
