Second house in the enclave of the Village of Drummond in the last two weeks. Both seem overpriced, but maybe I’m underestimating this part of Chevy Chase. Thoughts? What will this one sell for? |
Beautiful. Why would anyone move from that beauty? |
I don’t know the market in CCMD but came here to say that it’s a beautiful property. Lovely! |
Call me when they solve that murder. |
Huh? |
Perhaps the PP is responding to “why would any leave this beauty” to imply the owners were offed? Still a very strange comment…. |
Drummond gets a premium but this seems aggressive |
Why a premium compared to Somerset? Do they get access to the pool, etc. too? |
The other house dropped their price by $300K in a week so... |
No they don’t have pool access. But it’s part of the village of Drummond. Some people think Drummond is the prettiest street in Chevy Chase with wide streets, sidewalks. And very few houses come up for sale there |

is this the same house? |
No it's not the same house and I'm pretty sure the husband did it. |
No. The murder was in the 4800 block. |
I walked by this house daily for years and admired it. The interior is even more beautiful than the exterior. If I had the $ and were a bit younger I'd buy it for sure.
BTW one of the features of Drummond is that it's a dead end street. But it's not in the town of Somerset, so no pool access. |
