Why does my hair always look really good right before an appointment??

So frustrating. Just a vent. For some reason my hair always looks just the way I want it to on the day I’m scheduled do have it cut. So strange.

My hair always looks best right before I wash it, like when I'm about to step in the shower. But if I turned off the shower and decided to skip hair washing, it would fall flat.

I was supposed to get a cut last Friday and canceled. My curls have been feeling amazing and actually doing what I want them to do.

I’m sure that will change very soon and I’ll wish I’d kept that appt vs waiting another month!

Mine only ever looks good in the 5 minutes before I go to bed.

Same reason symptoms disappear while you are sitting in the doctor office waiting room-most especially pediatricians!

Conversely, I knew that if DH was on a business trip, one of 3 DC would be ill during the time he was away.

Could it be that you should wait a month or 2 longer before cutting your hair?

Maybe get your hair cut fewer times throughout the year?

I find I only need to go to the salon every 6 months, as opposed to every 3-4.
