JlHow is dual enrollment scheduled?

When a student is in dual enrollment, how is it scheduled?

Is it virtual, in person, or depends on the class?

Does the student take one fewer class at high school? And has a study hall?

It’s been a few years so things may have changed but DD took a morning class at MC. Technically it met at the USG campus. There was a bus. She had no courses scheduled for periods 1-3.

Did she make up the other 2 HS classes at another time? Or had fewer total classes/credits?

That depends on the program. Usually they take fewer or no HS classes. Most intro classes are offered virtual and in person. Hands on classes like science and arts are all in person with few exceptions. Here is more information: https://www.montgomerycollege.edu/high-school-students/dual-enrollment/
