Meditation/Psychedelics to deal with insecurity/jealousy

Anonymous
I'm coming out of a marriage that left me pretty scarred. I realize that my insecurity and jealousy are going to ruin any future relationship until I deal with them. I'm in counseling, but I wanted to know if anyone has experience with you meditation, ayahuasca, psilocybin or other Psychedelics for these or similar issues.

DH has and many others I know. All loved and had profound experiences. Better than meds or therapy

Experiment with microdosing from a trusted source.

I meditate daily to help me rewire my brain after childhood trauma, and it has really worked for me. I have never taken psychedelics because of fear of a bad trip, although if I did it in company of someone trained, I’d be fine with it. I have had some psychedelic experiences using meditation alone, but that’s probably because I have years of experience.

Try EMDR or (self-)hypnotherapy

Yes. I have used plant medicine with many positive effects. Ketamine was the drug that helped heal my ptsd from an abusive marriage

Was your insecurity and jealousy unwarranted or were you traumatized by an emotionally abusive partner who was committing infidelity?

IME, after the latter experience, one has to learn how to set and enforce boundaries, work on your own economic stability (savings, career, retirement, etc.) and create a rewarding and safe solo life. Before focusing on insecurity and jealousy.
