Any may 14 & may 17 events?

I take may 14 off for 8 year old boy, and I take may 17 off for 5 year old girl. It has been a long time since they have mom only time separately without the other sibling. Anything fun happening for these 2 days in dmv area from 8am to 5pm? I don't want to do usual activities like playground or indoor playground.

OP check Kid Friendly DC the week before those dates. That site always has great info on anything special going on.
