Can I set this up on an iPhone?

If someone is sending my kid texts that make me and my kid uncomfortable, can I set it up somehow so that we get a record of the texts but they don’t come to my kid’s phone?

If the sender has an iPhone get another device that can receive imessages and soft block the sender on the kids phone.
