I'm a little confused about whose domain this is. Landscape architect? Concrete contractor? My yard guy says he'll do it but I don't want to spend money just to have it done shoddily and crack. I know exactly what I want, just need someone to level the ground, pout concrete and install pavers on top.
To complicate this I live in a unique area without a lot of options for contractors etc, so I want to be really sure about who I need to hire. |
Meadow farms landscaping has a sale on pavers |
A hardscaping company. Yes, there's such a thing.
Or ask Perry Mason. He always has the answers. |
Google Patio companies near me. |
Why would put concrete below pavers?
Usually you dig out, put a few inches of stone, compact it, a few inches of stone dust, compact it and then pavers on top. |

Pavers are so tacky. Their ads are well done - and the options are much better than they used to be but natural stone so much nicer. Yes - about 20% more but they elevate the landscape while pavers look best day they’re put in and downhill from there. |

This is OP. I mean limestone pavers. A paver is just a flat stone. |
There are stone masons who will do this work. Landscape architects can as well but they will just contract out. We used the guys at Serra Stone. |
Stone mason. |
I just got a Stone patio done and a "cottage gardeny' pathway. All the neighbors are giving me a lot of compliments.
Here's the contractor: Wilfredo Martel at +1443-699-1457. Depending on your county, you may get reimbursed if you do the stone patio in an environmentally favorable way. |
Like to build a 15'x15' patio with pavers and sand, no concrete base, does anybody have idea how much the cost will be? |
