Best party favor your kids has gotten

Yes I know we all hate them but they’re very much expected at my son’s school. It really does drive me crazy that we all (the parents at this school) spend money on junk that almost all ends up in the trash 2 days later.

Has your kid gotten any (ideally like one individual thing) that was actually worth it?

My son got the hedbanz game at one which was great - they’d somehow gotten it in a bulk clearance thing where it worked out to like $9 a favor, the regular $25 would be faaaar out of the range I’d do

A pool toy. But it’s prob not the season for it. Pokémon cards. We’d strongly prefer no to one party favor. The gift bags are too much. She really loved the sound tube one family gave out, we did not 🤣

Honestly none. Maybe books, legos, a shirt, etc. but none is fine with us.

My kids like candy. They seem to like junky party favors. They liked water guns, pool middle light sabers, Star Wars light sabers, nerf guns.

I, the mom, liked books.

This reminds me the show with Debra messing where she takes her daughter to a birthday party and their gift for the birthday kid (a pink scooter) ends up being the party favor.

Food - I don't want plastic things, I want cookies or candy that my kids can eat and it's gone.

A book

In preschool, one classmate gave out a single small, puzzle Japanese eraser. That was great.

Basically, anything that’s not a giant sack of candy and toys. That said, I gave out candy and toys for DS’ bday.
