DD8 hair growth

Anonymous
DD8 has facial hair above her lips. Since her natural hair color is brown black, it shows up quickly. The kids in her class have pointed it out to her multiple times not to the point of bullying yet. DD is not overly conscious about it and we reiterate that we all are beautiful in our own ways. I am myself fat and she knows how I make no big deal about it. In short, things are so far so good. Her upper lip hair is definitely visible but can't call it a mustache that would need medical intervention. Hair growth runs in the family so probably genetic. Since DD is really young, I don't feel the need to address it from beauty perspective. However, I am looking for ideas in case there are home remedies that don't use chemicals that can help lighten the hair or curb the growth.

I am not looking for sarcasm or snarky comments. If this is something you can't advise on, please move on with other threads.

Thank y'all.

I used Jolen Creme bleach back in my teen years. I’ve seen this product recommended on here before - https://www.ulta.com/p/flawless-instant-painless-facial-hair-remover-xlsImpprod16641047?sku=2543679&cmpid=PS_Non!google!Product_Listing_Ads&utm_source=google&utm_medium=paidsearch&CAWELAID=330000200001747955&srsltid=AfmBOoqNhm9rX3fohYBI5qFhsZ5u1iUmTJFhI3su2DNEkUt3cNKa1X4Vgco

I get mine threaded now, but that hurts like the devil and I wouldn’t recommend it for someone her age.

I would not wax or bleach an 8 yr old.

Get the flawless finishing touch. It is mini- electric face razor for women. Easy and painless. She could even do it herself

+1. My 9yo and 11yo use this for their unibrow (by choice). Easy and painless. (we tried the one made for brows but it didn't work as well for them)

Cannot believe you would use this on an 8 yr olds face! CPS should be alerted (joking)

I would just do sugar wax. I wax my DS’s unibrow. Otherwise you’re just waiting until the kids make fun of her.

This is OP. Thank you all for your recommendations. I am glad I asked. I would have left it as-is since she is not bothered about it yet. But now I will certainly look at the options recommended. Seems from you all that it's not rare for 8-9 year olds to use tools and solutions for facial hair.
